DONATIONS
The
Shepherds of Good Hope is a non-profit organization .
God has truly blessed us with very generous donors and supporters who are
very important to us.
We
continue to receive funding from the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton to
assist with the costs of providing emergency shelter and our Drop-in Programs.
Government funding makes up 40% of our revenues and private donations
cover the difference and amount to 60%
of our budget. Expenses are kept
down as we continue to receive an abundance of donated food, clothing furniture,
office equipment and volunteer time.
The Shepherds of Good Hope issues tax receipts for financial donations of any amount.
